OSI Connect के बारे में

OSI Connect is a comprehensive mental health learning and self-management tool built specifically for Canadian veterans and RCMP members facing operational stress injuries. Designed for Android, iPhone, and iPad, this portable app delivers trusted information and practical support directly to your device — anytime, anywhere you need it.

Operational stress injuries (OSI) encompass a range of mental health challenges including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. These conditions arise from the unique pressures of military and police service — combat exposure, search-and-rescue operations, training accidents, witnessing trauma, or disaster response work. When these experiences interfere with your daily life, professional support makes all the difference. Recognizing you need help takes courage, and OSI Connect connects you with that help.

Across Canada, specialized OSI Clinics stand ready to support you and your family. Each clinic is staffed by dedicated teams of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, mental health nurses, and specialized clinicians who deeply understand military and police cultures. They develop personalized treatment plans tailored to your needs, drawing on four core pillars: comprehensive assessment, evidence-based treatment, professional networking, and ongoing research to improve outcomes.

OSI Connect provides access to a variety of treatment options and resources. Whether you need individual therapy, group sessions, psycho-education, or specialized addiction counselling, the app helps you navigate available services and find what works for you. Family members and spouses can participate in your treatment journey, because operational stress injuries affect entire households. The app also addresses the physical toll — stress-related symptoms like sleep problems, headaches, and stomach upset — connecting these effects to the psychological roots and treatment strategies.

Accessing care is straightforward. Regular and Reserve Canadian Forces members should speak with their Medical Officer or Base Social Worker. Current RCMP officers can reach out to their Health Services Officer or RCMP Psychologist. Retired service members can contact Veterans Affairs Canada at the National Client Contact Centre. For peer support and guidance, the Operational Stress Injury Social Support (OSISS) Program offers dedicated coordinators ready to listen and assist.

While attending periodic appointments at your local OSI Clinic, you continue living in your community — treatment fits your life, not the other way around. Residential and inpatient stabilization programs are also available when intensive support is needed.

OSI Connect empowers you to take control of your mental health recovery with evidence-based resources, clinical guidance, and a community that understands your service and sacrifice.
